List of districts of Rajasthan
The Indian state of Rajasthan is divided into 50 districts for administrative purposes.[1]

The responsibilities of district management are carried out by All-India officials and state-appointed officials. The All-India officials in each district are a Deputy Commissioner or district Magistrate (from the Indian Administrative Service), a Superintendent of Police (from the Indian Police Service) and a Deputy Conservator of Forests (from the Indian Forest Service), each of which is assisted by officers of various Rajasthan state services. The state-appointed officials are responsible for matters such as health, education, and other primary facilities.
On 17 March 2023, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot announced the creation of 19 new districts, while Jaipur district and Jodhpur district would cease to exist (becoming Jaipur North, Jaipur South, Jodhpur East, and Jodhpur West), thus number of districts will increase to 50.[2]

After the formation of new districts, which village will be in which district, see here: On March 17, 2023, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan state Ashok Gehlot had announced the formation of 19 new districts. After the formation of 19 new districts, a total of 50 districts will now be formed by including all the old districts. Along with this, three new divisions have also been announced. After the announcement of three new divisions, there will be a total of 10 divisions including all the old divisions. Jaipur North, Jaipur South, Kotputli (Jaipur), Kekri (Ajmer), Sanchore (Jalore), Khairthal (Alwar), Anupgarh (Sriganganagar), Gangapur City (Sawai Madhopur), Neemkathana (Sikar), Phalodi (Jodhpur), Dudu (Jaipur), Beawar (Ajmer), Didwana-Kuchaman (Nagaur), Salumber (Udaipur), Shahpura (Bhilwara), Jodhpur East, Jodhpur West, Balotra (Barmer), Deeg (Bharatpur)
Newly declared districts
On 17 March 2023, CM Ashok Gehlot made an announcement in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly that 19 new districts will be formed along with three new divisions in state. The number of districts will be increased to 50 while existing Jaipur (united) and Jodhpur (united) will cease to exist.[4][5][6]
Popular demands
Pratapgarh the last district was formed in 2008, ever since the demand to form new district is coming from various parts of Rajasthan. There are demands for more than 50 districts. Most notable new district forming demands are given below[7][8]
