Bar Aftab-e Fazl

Bar Aftab-e Fazl (Persian: برافتاب فاضل, also Romanized as Bar Āftāb-e Fāz̤l; also known as Bar Āftāb-e Bozorg)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Donbaleh Rud-e Jonubi Rural District of Qarun District, Dezpart County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 370 in 71 households, when it was in the former Dehdez District of Izeh County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 341 people in 71 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 294 people in 69 households.[2]

In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of the new Dezpart County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Dehdez as its capital and only city.[6]
