Bardo, Greater Poland Voivodeship

Bardo [ˈbardɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Września, within Września County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Września and 42 km (26 mi) east of the regional capital Poznań.

History

Bardo was a private village of Polish nobility, including the Bardski family of Szaszor coat of arms and Skrzetuski family of Jastrzębiec coat of arms,[2] administratively located in the Pyzdry County in the Kalisz Voivodeship in the Greater Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.[3]

By 1880, it had a population of 181.[2]
