Barry is a city in northern Big Stone County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 16 at the 2020 census.[3]

Barry was named for the Barry brothers, early settlers.[6]

As of the census of 2010, there were 16 people, 6 households, and 6 families living in the city. The population density was 64.0 inhabitants per square mile (24.7/km2). There were 15 housing units at an average density of 60.0 per square mile (23.2/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% White.

There were 6 households, of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 83.3% were married couples living together, and 16.7% had a male householder with no wife present. 0.0% of all households were made up of individuals. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 2.50.

The median age in the city was 50.5 years. 12.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 12.6% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 18.9% were from 25 to 44; 37.5% were from 45 to 64; and 18.8% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.1% male and 49.9% female.

As of the census of 2000, there were 25 people, 12 households, and 6 families living in the city. The population density was 101.3 inhabitants per square mile (39.1/km2).
