The Battle of Kabkabiya was a battle in Kabkabiya, North Darfur, Sudan, during the 2023 war in Sudan

Background
In May 2015, a clash between militiamen and troops of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) in Kabkabiya lead to injuries.[1] Attacks on farmers also continued.[2] Kidnappings were also reported.[3] refugees from the area have been displaced.[4]
Battle
By 23 April 2023, the town became under control of the Rapid Support Forces.[5] Three employees of the World Food Programme (WFP) were killed after being caught in the crossfire at a military base. Two other staff members were injured.[6]
