Battle of Starokostiantyniv

The Battle of Starokostiantyniv (Ukrainian: Битва під Старокостянтиновим, Polish: Bitwa pod Starokonstantynowem; 26–28 July 1648). Was a battle of the Khmelnytsky Uprising. Near the site of the present-day town of Starokostiantyniv in Ukraine, a forces of the Zaporozhian Cossacks under the command of Maksym Kryvonis attacked and defeated the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth’s forces under the command of Jeremi Wiśniowiecki and Janusz Tyszkiewicz.
