Beesetti Venkata Satyavathi

Dr. Beesetti Venkata Satyavathi is an Indian politician and a member of parliament to the 17th Lok Sabha from Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency, Andhra Pradesh. She won the 2019 Indian general election being a YSR Congress Party candidate.[2]

Early life

Satyavathi was bron to Jagannadhga rao and demudlamma on 30 April,1966 at S.rayavaram village in anakapalle.she was married to Kandregula Vishnumurthy of Anakapalle who owns vivekananda hospital.she has 1 son and he is also a doctor[3]

Education and Social service as a doctor

she did M.B.B.S in Gynecology from Andhra Medical College at visakhapatnam.People used to call her by the name 'Satyavathamma' for her works towards poor people ho used to charge a mere 30 rs fees.

  • Earlier,she worked in Anakapalli Maternity hospital from 1993 to 1999 and did many child births
  • in the year 2000,she and her husband Vishnumurthy started Vivekananda hospital and started charging a mere fees of 10 rs and also started trust named Vivekananda trust.[3]

Politics

she won as a M.P from Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency by defeating Adari Anandkumar by Majority of 89192 votes[4].she also attended parliament debates and had average of 86 % which is higher than state average attendence[5]
