Capital City of Warsaw (1919–1939)

The Capital City of Warsaw,[lower-alpha 1] simply known as Warsaw,[lower-alpha 2] was an independent city of Warsaw, that functioned as the voivodeship of Poland, from 1919 to 1939. In 1931, it had a population of 1 171 898,[1] and the area of 123 km².[2] It was an enclave surrounded by the Warsaw Voivodeship.[3]
