Central District (Dargazin County)

The Central District of Dargazin County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان درگزین) is in Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qorveh-e Dargazin.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Qorveh-e Darjazin District of Razan County) was 22,952 in 5,777 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 23,717 people in 6,850 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 22,607 inhabitants in 7,035 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Dargazin County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Qorveh-e Dargazin as its capital.[3]
