Central District (Dezpart County)

The Central District of Dezpart County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان دزپارت) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dehdez.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as part of the former Dehdez District of Izeh County) was 16,837 in 3,076 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 15,562 people in 3,324 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 14,465 inhabitants in 3,581 households.[2]

In July 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of the new Dezpart County and divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Dehdez as its capital and only city.[3]
