The Central District of Kelardasht County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان كلاردشت) is in Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kelardasht.

At the 2006 census, the region's population (as the former Kelardasht District of Chalus County) was 20,381 in 5,759 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 17,350 people in 5,390 households,[4] by which time the Kelardasht Rural District had split into Kelardasht-e Gharbi and Kelardasht-e Sharqi Rural Districts.[5] At the 2016 census, the population was 23,648 in 8,067 households,[2] when the district had separated from Chalus County to establish Kelardasht County.[6]
