The Central District of Sareyn County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان سرعین) is in Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sareyn.

At the 2006 census, its population was 12,322 in 2,853 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 13,062 people in 3,710 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 13,305 inhabitants living in 3,879 households.[2]
