Dabuy-ye Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان دابوئ شمالي)[3] is in Sorkhrud District of Mahmudabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,745 in 2,112 households.[4] There were 8,110 inhabitants in 2,531 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 9,015 in 3,045 households. The largest of its 16 villages was Zangi Kola-ye Olya, with 1,583 people.[2]
