"Dedicated" is a song by R. Kelly and Public Announcement from the album Born into the 90's (1992). It is the fifth and last single from Kelly's debut album. It was released on Jive Records in January 1993.[1]

The song was a top ten hit in the R&B/Hip Hop Charts and at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. It's the album's best charted single on the pop chart. "Dedicated" was one of the songs by R. Kelly to be used in the movie Menace II Society in 1993.

The song was written and produced by Kelly. It was dedicated to his mother, Joanne Kelly, who died in 1993.[2]

An accompanying music video was released in January 1993.[3] It is Kelly's first music video to be added to regular rotation by MTV.[4]
