Delicious Orie

Delicious Orie (born 31 May 1997) is a British[3][2] amateur boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2022 European Championships[4] and a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, representing England.

Orie was born in Moscow to a Nigerian father and a Russian mother, facing racial prejudice due to the colour of his skin.[3] He moved to England at age seven and settled in Wolverhampton a few years later.[3] He attended Colton Hills Community School in the Penn area of Wolverhampton where his initial sporting focus was basketball, transitioning to boxing later on at college and university.
