Dwight Bement

Dwight Bement (born December 28, 1945)[1][2] is an American saxophonist.

Career

Bement joined the rock group the Outcasts in the mid-1960s. The Outcasts would later become Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, who had numerous hits in the late 1960s with "Woman, Woman", "Young Girl", "Lady Willpower", "Over You", "Don't Give In to Him", and "This Girl Is a Woman Now". The saxophonist and guitarist for the group, he switched to bass when bassist Kerry Chater left in 1969.

In 1973, Bement joined Flash Cadillac & the Continental Kids, and appeared with them in the 1973 film, American Graffiti.[1][3] Bement still tours with the Continental Kids as of 2023.[4]
