Ecological Party of Uzbekistan

On November 14, 2018, the Organizational Committee was formed at the meeting of the initiators of the establishment of the Ecological Party in Uzbekistan. "Road map" of measures for creating an eco-party was developed. It was decided to preserve the experience of the Environmental Movement of Uzbekistan, which has been operating since 2008 in the practice of improving legislation, international cooperation, public environmental control, and solving environmental problems, and transfer it to a new political force. On December 1-17, 2018, conferences on the election of delegates to the founding congress of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan were held in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent. On January 8, 2019, the Constituent Congress of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent, the Program, Charter and symbols of the party were approved and its governing bodies were elected. On January 22, 2019, the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan was registered in the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan. From February 27 to March 4, conferences on the organization of territorial party organizations of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan were held in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent. Regional and city party organizations of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan were formed at regional and city conferences in May-July. As of September 1, 2021, the Party consists of 14 regional and about 206 district and city party organizations. Primary party organizations work in many neighborhoods, enterprises, institutions and organizations.
