Egertonodus

Egertonodus is an extinct genus of shark-like hybodont fish. It includes three species, E. basanus from the Jurassic of Europe and North Africa and Cretaceous of North America, North Africa and Europe, E. fraasi from the Late Jurassic of Germany, which was first included in genus Hybodus but has since been moved to Egertonodus and E. duffini from the Middle Jurassic of England.[1][2] E. basanus, the most common find out of the three species, is thought to have reached 1.5 m (4ft 11in) in length.[3]
