El Afweyn District
El Afweyn District (Somali: Degmada Ceelafweyn) is a district in the Sanaag region of Somaliland. Its capital lies at El Afweyn.

Population
Majority of the district is inhabited by Garhajis subdivision of Habaryoonis which is saadyoonis. The minority of the district is HabarJeclo subdivision of the Musa abokor speciffically Biciide. The population in 2005 was 65,797 according to the OCHA survey.[1]
