Geography
Epping Forest National Park is in the south-east of the locality (22.3500°S 146.7025°E).[3][4] Apart from the national park, the land use is almost entirely grazing on native vegetation.[3]
History
In the 2016 census, Elgin had a population of 41 people.[1]
Education
There are no schools in Elgin, nor nearby. Distance education or boarding school would be options.[3]
