The Embassy of the United States to Moldova in Chișinău is the diplomatic mission of United States of America to Moldova. Dereck J. Hogan is the current U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, and was sworn in on November 2, 2018.[1]

History

The United States recognized the independence of Moldova on December 25, 1991,[2] and opened an embassy in its capital, Chișinău, in March 1992.[3] The current United States Ambassador to Moldova, Dereck J. Hogan, presented his credentials on November 2, 2018.[4]
