EuroBasket Women 2025

The 2025 European Women Basketball Championship, commonly called EuroBasket Women 2025, is the 40th edition of the continental tournament in women's basketball, sanctioned by the FIBA Europe. It will be held in the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece and Italy.

Bidding process

Romania[1][2][3]

  • In March 2023, the president of the Romanian Basketball Federation, Carmen Tocală, said that they intend to apply to host Group games in a new 5,000 capacity multi-complex arena in Constanța. This would be their third time hosting, after 1966 and 2015.

Italy[4][5]

On 7 September 2023, FIBA announced that the Czech Republic (Brno[6]), Germany (Hamburg[7]), Greece and Italy will host the tournament. Each country will host a group and the final round is scheduled to take place in Athens, Greece.[8]

Qualification

The draw will take place on 19 September 2023. The qualification will begin in November 2023.[8]
