Díaz Acosta has a career high ATP singles ranking of world No. 93 achieved on 21 August 2023. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of world No. 173 achieved on 28 November 2022.[1] Díaz Acosta competes mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour and has won two Challenger singles titles.
Career
2020: ATP debut
Díaz Acosta made his ATP main draw debut at the 2020 Argentina Open after receiving a wildcard for the singles and doubles main draws.[2]
2022: Maiden Challenger title
In May, Díaz Acosta won his first Challenger title at the Dove Men+Care 2022 Challenger Coquimbo in Chile on clay.[3]
2023: Grand Slam debut , First ATP win, top 100
He recorded his first ATP win at the 2023 Argentina Open as a wildcard against his compatriot Federico Coria.
He reached the top 150 at world No. 134 following his second title at the 2023 Savannah Challenger.
He made his Grand Slam main draw debut at the 2023 French Open after entering the draw as a lucky loser.
