André Øvredal
André Øvredal (Norwegian: [ɑnˈdreː ˈø̂ːvrədɑɫ]; born 1973) is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the films Trollhunter (2010), The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016), Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) and The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023).

Life and career
He is best known for writing and directing the film Trollhunter.[1][2] Øvredal wrote for 20th Century Fox Television the pilot episode of action-horror television series Enormous,[3] which is based on the comic book by the same name.[4]
