GTrans

GTrans is a municipal transit agency that serves Gardena, California and surrounding Los Angeles County neighbourhoods. It was founded on January 15, 1940, as Gardena Municipal Bus Lines. On the agency's 75th anniversary, the agency was renamed as GTrans.[4] The bus lines complement the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's crosstown routes through the city.[1] In 2022, the system had a ridership of 1,685,000, or about 7,800 per weekday as of the second quarter of 2023.

As of September 2023, GTrans operates 3 daily routes, 2 school tripper routes, 1 weekday route, and 1 event route. Weekend service is provided on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.[5]

Manhattan Beach Bl, Van Ness Av, El Segundo Bl, 135th St, Western Av, 162nd St, 158th St Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays during the Summer. Line G is a pilot trolley service between the City of Manhattan Beach and Gardena City Hall. Only three stops are serviced as of today: Manhattan Beach, Rowley Park, and Gardena City Hall. Route runs only in the summer.
