Gedaylu

Gedaylu (Persian: گدايلو, also Romanized as Gedāylū; also known as Gedāylī)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Aslan Duz-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District of Aslan Duz County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]

Before Aslan Duz District separated from Parsabad County to become the county of Aslan Duz, the village was in Aslan Duz Rural District. At the 2006 census, its population was 587 in 95 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 552 people in 136 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 661 people in 172 households.[2]

In 2017, the district was separated from the county, elevated to the status of Aslan Duz County with the city of Aslan Duz as its capital, and divided into two districts of two rural districts each.[4]
