Gossau SG railway station

Gossau SG railway station (German: Bahnhof Gossau SG) is a railway station in Gossau, in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. It is an intermediate station on the St. Gallen–Winterthur line and the terminus of the Sulgen–Gossau and 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+38 in) metre gauge Gossau–Wasserauen lines.[1]

As of the December 2021 timetable change, the following services stop at Gossau SG:[5]

  • St. Gallen S-Bahn:
    • S1: half-hourly service over the St. Gallen–Winterthur line between Wil and Schaffhausen via St. Gallen, supplementing the long-distance services.
    • S5: hourly or better service over the Sulgen–Gossau line to Weinfelden and over the St. Gallen–Winterthur line to St. Gallen and St. Margrethen.
    • S23: half-hourly service over the Gossau–Wasserauen line to Wasserauen.
