Gwendolyne Fourniol

Gwendolyne Bolivar Fourniol[1] (Tagalog pronunciation: [bɔˈlɪbɐɾ ˈpɔɾɲɔl]; French pronunciation: [fuʁnjɔl]; born June 11, 2000) is a Filipina model, educator, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Philippines 2022.[2][3] She will represent the Philippines at the Miss World 2023 competition in Srinagar, India.

Early life and education

Fourniol was born to a Filipina mother, Sim Fourniol (née Bolivar), from Himamaylan, Negros Occidental, and to a French father, Thierry Fourniol. She was raised in the Philippines and in France, and now resides in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines. Fourniol is currently completing her bachelor's degree in economics at the Oxford Brookes University in London, England.[1][4]

Miss World Philippines 2021

Fourniol competed in the Miss World Philippines 2021 pageant and finished in the top 15.[5][6]

Miss World Philippines 2022

She joined the Miss World Philippines 2022 pageant and won.[2][3] She also received the Best in Evening Gown, Love Your Skin, and Miss Silka awards.[7]

Miss World 2023

Fourniol will represent the Philippines at the Miss World 2023 competition in December 2023 in Kashmir International Convention Centre in Srinagar, India.[8]
