Habersham, Georgia

History

Past variant names have included "Bert", "Habersham Mill Village", "Habersham Mills", "Porters Mill Town", and "Porters Mills".[1] The community was named for Colonel Joseph Habersham of the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War.[2]
