Hafiz al-Assad government

The Hafiz al-Assad government ruled Syria from 1970 to 1971. The Cabinet of Syria was led by then-Prime Minister Hafiz al-Assad.[1] This government was the 76th since Syria gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1918 and was the first during presidency of Ahmad al-Khatib.[2]
