- The race was won on the road by British rider David Tonks.[2]
- The race was won on the road by Choi Ki Ho, but he was not eligible for the elite honours.[3]

However, his youth is what excluded him from becoming the Hong Kong National Elite Champion, and at the weekend he was awarded the Under 23 title instead.
