History

Iron Menace was officially announced on August 10, 2023. It is scheduled to open in 2024. It will occupy the site formerly used by Stinger, a former roller coaster that operated at the park from 2012 to 2017.[1][2]

Ride characteristics

Iron Menace will feature two trains. Each train will have three cars and each car will seat seven riders in a single row, allowing the ride to accommodate up to 21 riders per train.[2]

The ride will reach a maximum height of 160 feet (49 m). The first drop will be 152 feet (46 m) at a 95-degree angle, with the ride reaching a speed of 64 miles per hour (103 km/h). The ride will feature four inversions (an Immelmann loop, a zero-g roll, an inclined loop, and a corkscrew) along a track length of 2,169 feet (661 m). One cycle of the ride is expected to take 1 minute and 30 seconds.[2]
