Bella Lewis

Isabella Lewis (born 16 November 2002) is an Australian rules footballer playing for West Coast in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She was drafted with the third selection in the 2020 AFL Women's draft by the West Coast.[1][2][3][4]

Early life

Lewis did professional Trampolining at national level for Australia until 2018.[5][6] She played for Claremont Football Club in the WAFL Women's.[7][8][9] She represented Western Australia at the 2019 AFL Women's Under 18 Championships,[10] where she played 3 games and kicked 1 goal, and averaged 12 disposals.[11][12]

AFLW career

Lewis debuted for West Coast in the opening round of the 2021 AFL Women's season, where they had a 38 point defeat to Adelaide.[13][14][15] On debut, she collected 11 disposals, 1 behind, 2 marks and 3 tackles.[16] Lewis had an outstanding first season, and won the club's best first year player and best and fairest awards.[17] It was revealed Lewis had signed on with West Coast for two more years on 22 June 2021.[18]
