JZyNO

Jonathan Lee Pratt (born January 3, 1995) best known by his stage name JZyNo, is a Liberian singer, songwriter and performing artist based in Ghana.[1][2]

Early life

Jonathan Lee Pratt was in born Buchanan, Liberia. He was born to a NigerienLiberian mother and a Liberian-Portuguese father. After some years, he moved to Ghana which is where he is currently based. While growing up as a teenager, he started doing music freestyles.[3][4]

Music career

JZyNO gained Recognition in the Liberian music scene in 2020 with his song "Kpan Kpan Me" featuring Teddyride.[5][6] He continued to release songs in 2021 such as "RULA" featuring Epixode and Nedy Music, then he dropped "Mamie Watta" featuring Krymi.[7] He finished off the year with his first EP titled "Brown Sugar".

In 2020, JZyNO bagged 5 nominations at the MTN Liberian Music Awards (2020). Making him the most nominated in MLMA history.[8]

In April 2023, he debuts with his first official sound of the year, "Butta My Bread", an Afrobeats[9] single featuring Ghanaian singer, Lasmid[10] which was Distributed by Universal Music Group is now becoming one of the biggest songs of the season on streaming platforms in this country[11][12] with a popular dance routine on social media platforms likes TikTok[13] and Instagram. In August 2023, "Butta My Bread" official video was dropped, it has been aired on TV and radio stations, the video was shot by Nigerian video director, Clarence Peters.[14][15]
