Jaber Asiri

Jaber Asiri (Arabic: جابر عسيري; born 24 September 1997) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Professional League club Al-Wehda.

Club career

Asiri began his career at the youth team of Al-Shaheed. In 2016, Asiri joined the youth team of Al-Wehda. He made his debut for the club during the 2017–18 season. He scored his first two goals for Al-Wehda in a 2–1 win against Al-Tai on 20 September 2017. He made 23 appearances and scored goals during the 2017–18 season helping Al-Wehda win the MS League title and earn promotion to the Pro League.[2] On 2 March 2019, Asiri made his Pro League debut for Al-Wehda in a 1–1 draw against Al-Batin, coming off the bench replacing Ahmed Abdu in the 76th minute.[3] On 8 March 2019, Asiri scored his first Pro League goal for the club in a 1–1 draw against Al-Hilal.[4] On 10 September 2020, Asiri renewed his contract with the club until the end of the 2023–24 season.[5] During the 2021–22 season, Asiri made 15 appearances helping Al-Wehda earn promotion once again.[6]
