Kashkan-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان کشکان جنوبی) is in Shahivand District of Dowreh County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Khatereh.[3]

At the National Census of 2011, its population was 6,496 in 1,595 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,379 in 1,794 households. The largest of its 29 villages was Kolehu, with 1,107 people.[2]
