Veysian

Veysian (Persian: ويسيان, also Romanized as Veysīān, Vaisiyan, Vaisyan, Vasīān, Veseyān, Veysīyān, and Voisiyan; also known as Cham Bāgh-e Veysīān; formerly, Mahmudvand (Persian: محمودوند), also Romanized as Maḩmūdvand)[3][4] is a city in, and the capital of, Veysian District of Dowreh County, Lorestan province, Iran.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,817 in 429 households, when it was in Khorramabad County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,988 people in 535 households,[7] by which time the district had separated from the county in the establishment of Dowreh County.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,087 people in 619 households.[2]
