Kavir Rural District (Tabas County)
Kavir Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوير)[3] is in Deyhuk District of Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Yazd province) was 3,507 in 1,011 households.[4] There were 4,415 inhabitants in 1,242 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,082 in 1,305 households, by which time the county had been transferred from Yazd to South Khorasan province. The largest of its 57 villages was Esfandiar, with 1,289 people.[2]
