Premise

Set in Panchgani, it follows the journey of Kirti, a single mother who bumps into Vikrant. While Kirti wants to know the truth behind her friend's death, she takes help from Vikrant, unknown to the fact that Vikrant has a deep secret that will eventually change Kirti's life.

Plot

Kirti, an aspiring author moves to Panchgani with her son, to live in her uncle's house, leaving her husband. At Panchgani, Kirti's friend Anjali is in a secret relationship with Vikrant, a respectable chemistry teacher, who also runs a local school. When Anjali starts to take control in their relationship, Vikrant kills and buries her body with the help of Bittu, a local. Kirti reports Anjali's disappearance to the Police and Vikrant offers to help her.

Later, Anjali's body is found out and Kirti vows to find the culprit. But, Vikrant manipulates the police investigation and destroys evidences. However, Kirti deduces the killer is Anjali's secret boyfriend and finds clues to his identity. To prevent Kirti from further investigations, Vikrant gets her a job in his school library.

Vikrant is shown to be speaking to a photo, which might be his friend, where he mentions killing 11 other girls before Anjali for the friend. His psychopath attitude is more evident as he is shown to keep the photos of all his victims and also keeps a necklace containing the hair of victims. Later, as Ganesh, a carpenter learns the truth of Vikrant, he is killed by the latter in a crowded public place. As Vikrant and Kirti grow closer ,they find comfort in each other and Vikrant realizes he had fallen for her and determines to make her his.

In the Library, Kirti accidentally comes across a file, containing the photos of 12 girls including Anjali, she realizes the 11 missing cases and Anjali's murder have something in common, most probably a common person. She reports the file to police, and the police arrests Shreyash, her cousin and the student of the school who prepared the file. Later Shreyash convinces the police that he was doing an investigation on the Panchgani cases and the police secretly hires him to help them in the investigation. Kirti's aunt blames Kirti for her son's arrest and Vikrant offers a room in his house for rent to her so that she don't need to stay with her aunt.

Later when the librarian Jagdale misbehaves with Kirti, Vikrant sprays a chemical on him and he becomes insane. Kirti reveals her past to Vikrant and it's revealed that she left Dev, her husband as he was abusive.
