Kelar District
Kelar District (Persian: بخش کلار) is in Abbasabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kelarabad.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as a part of the former Abbasabad District of Tonekabon County) was 23,494 in 3,909 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 24,645 people in 7,532 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Abbasabad County.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,969 inhabitants in 3,645 households.[2]
