Khiva District

Khiva District (Uzbek: Xiva tumani, Хива тумани, خىۋا تۇمەنى) is a district of Xorazm Region in Uzbekistan. The capital lies in the city of Khiva, itself not part of the district.[1] It has an area of 430 km2 (170 sq mi)[2] and it had 147,400 inhabitants in 2021.[3] The district consists of six urban-type settlements (Gullanbogʻ, Parchanxos, Iftixor, Shoʻr-Qalʻa, Yuqori qoʻm, Hamkor) and nine rural communities.[1]
