Critical reception
The AllMusic review by Lindsay Planer and Thom Jurek states: "Although somewhat ragtag in derivation, the combo quickly finds its sonic niche... providing Kirk plenty of space to improvise wildly, utilizing his clever wit and immensely expressive musicality".[1]
