Krest-Khaldzhay

Krest-Khaldzhay (Russian: Крест-Хальджай; Yakut: Кириэс-Халдьаайы, Kiries Xalcaayı) is a rural locality (a selo), the administrative centre of and one of three settlements, in addition to Ary-Tolon and Udarnik, in Bayagantaysky Rural Okrug of Tomponsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is located 90 kilometers (56 mi) from Khandyga, the administrative center of the district. Its population as of the 2002 Census was 1,513.[1] On 6 July 2022, a record high temperature of 37.2 °C (99.0 °F) was recorded.[5]
