Kurdiumivka
Kurdiumivka (Ukrainian: Курдюмівка; Russian: Курдюмовка) is an urban-type settlement in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is located 54.7 kilometres (34.0 mi) north-northeast from the centre of Donetsk city. Population: 737 (2022 estimate).[1]

History
Russo–Ukrainian War
The war in Donbass, that started in mid-April 2014, brought both civilian and military casualties. A civilian was killed by rebel shelling in Kurdiumivka on 6 February 2017.[2]
During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kurdiumivka has been a site of fighting during the Battle of Bakhmut.[3]
Demographics
In 2001 the settlement had 1161 inhabitants. Native language as of the Ukrainian Census of 2001:[4]
