Overview

The TX was revealed on June 8, 2023, along with the next-generation GX.[6] Based on the Toyota Grand Highlander, it is the largest Lexus SUV, about 10 inches (25 cm) longer than the mid-size GX and RX. It is based on a unibody chassis, based on the unibody GA-K platform. The TX will exclusively be produced and sold in North America, like the Grand Highlander.

Specification

The TX replaces the three-row RX L, making it Lexus' only 3-row crossover. The TX offers 3 configurations: TX350, TX500h hybrid, and TX550h+ plug-in hybrid. The TX 350 will be powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine rated at 275 hp (279 PS; 205 kW), TX 500h F Sport Performance has 366 hp (371 PS; 273 kW), and the TX 550h+ 3.5-litre V6 engine is rated at 406 hp (412 PS; 303 kW).[5]
