Lily Walker

Lily Walker (born 5 June 2002) is an English field hockey player who plays for East Grinstead Hockey Club and the England and Great Britain national teams.

She won a Commonwealth gold medal at Birmingham in August 2022 with the England hockey team. It was the first time in history that England had won the Commonwealth gold.[1][2]

She attended Kingsmead School where she represented the school in many sports including Hockey, Football, Netball, Rounders and Tennis. She moved to Repton School at the age of 16 and was Captain of the Girls U18 Hockey team in her second year. After that she attended University of Birmingham where she represented Birmingham in the English Woman’s Premier Hockey League before leaving to play for East Grinstead in the 2023/24 season.
