Mahmudabad-e Nemuneh
Mahmudabad-e Nemuneh (Persian: محمودآبادنمونه, also Romanized as Maḩmūdābād Nemūneh; also known as Maḩmūdābād or Makhmudabad; formerly, Maḩmūdābād Sheykh ol Eslāmī and Shārīs)[3] is a city in the Central District of Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran. The vast majority of the people and natives of this city are Azerbaijani Turks.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 19,669 in 4,842 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 21,796 people in 5,928 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 21,982 people in 6,461 households.[2]
