Makinokō Station (牧之郷駅, Makinokō-eki) is a railway station located in the city of Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan operated by the private railroad company Izuhakone Railway.

History

Makinokō Station was opened on August 1, 1924, as part of the final extension of the Sunzu line from Ōhito to its present terminus at Shuzenji.

In fiscal 2017, the station was used by an average of 228 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[1]
