Marzanabad District

Marzanabad District (Persian: بخش مرزن‌آباد) is in Chalus County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as a parts of the former Kelardasht District) was 16,077 in 4,333 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 17,170 people in 5,049 households, when Marzanabad District had been formed from two rural districts and the city of Marzanabad.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 20,318 inhabitants in 6,743 households,[2] by which time Kelardasht District had separated from the county to establish Kelardasht County.[5]
