Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature[2] and the phylogeny is based on whole-genome sequences.[4][lower-alpha 1]

Notes
- Rarobacteraceae is not included in this phylogenetic tree, but it is close to and may eventually be synonymized with Jonesiaceae.[4]
